Created by Manuelle Ferraz, from the restaurant A Baianeira, Boteco da Manu was born in Barra Funda with a delicate and present look - without losing the relaxed atmosphere, with cold beer, glassware and classic snacks.
The starting point is an old house on the corner, renovated to open its doors to the street. The red rose - symbol of the boteco - appears as a central element, between cabaret and everyday life. The palette revolves around reds.
The Bayard typeface, by Vocal Type, relates the identity to a vernacular visual vocabulary, close to signs, street banners and other codes of the urban space.
Boteco da Manu is a boteco with affections, without hiding the kitchen, the fridge or the crates. A place of exchange, cheesiness and care, where drama and hospitality fit on the same table.
